MTEL Connect V2.5 testing on iPhone and Android mobiles. Release V2.5
will now be post XMAS while server and App testing continue through
MTEL Connect Mobile App Service expansion is placed on hold while Senior
Executive make a decision on the future of all product development currently
running in QFES.
MTEL is given permission to maintain existing App Clients and service and
the rollout of V2.5
MTEL Connect V2.5 protocols and design documents have now been sent to
iPhone and Android developers.
Dimbulah, Canungra, Millmerran, Richmond, Cecil Plains, Highfields and
Oakey added to the WBB networks as a result of maintenance issues and
upgrades to new sites.
This brings the total upgrades to two thirds of the MTEL Picocell
MTEL Connect V2.5 protocols and design documents have now been completed.
Telstra WBB performance this quarter has been 100% with no
MTEL Connect V2.00 Testing completed and survey sent to all stations to
evaluate the App service.
Results of the survey were presented to the Senior Executive Management.
MTEL Connect V2.00 running in 30 stations across the state. Testing will
be completed end of June.
MTEL Connect V2.00 running in Central regions
Proserpine, Biloela, Calliope added to the WBB networks as a result of
maintenance issues and upgrades to new sites.
MTEL Connect V2.00 running in Townsville and Sunshine Coast regions
Giru, Murgon added to the WBB networks as a result of maintenance issues
and upgrades to new sites.
MTEL Connect V2.00 has finally received approval for testing from the
State Executive Management.
Testing begins in the Cairns district from the 13th February 2017.
Further roll outs commence in Townsville region from the 27th February
2017 and Sunshine Coast regions from the 8th March.
Approximately 20 stations will conduct testing on the new functionality
The testing is expected to run approximately 6-8 weeks after which a
performance review will be presented to the State Executive.

WBB networks as a result of maintenance issues and upgrades to new sites.
