The clients store all configuration details in
Windows registry.
CDAT was first introduce when Windows XP was the
predominant platform. With the end ogf support for XP other operating
systems must now be employed.
CDAT uses HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE#Machine#Software#MTEL#CDAT
as the base resistry storage.
With the introduction of Vista, this was moved to a
sub directory of HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
With the introduction of Windows 7 64bit this was
again moved to a another subdirectory Wow6432Node.
