This is the current range of MTEL CDAT products. The original CDAT
2008 software released on CD Nationally in 2008 is now located at
CDAT
2008. This information is also replicated on this web site.
CDAT is proprietary software owned by the Queensland
Ambulance Service and ultimately with changes to the emergency services
structure, the Department of Community Safety. It is written and maintained by MTEL in Visual Basic 6.
VB6 has proved to be a simple reliable language which to date has run on
every Windows platform including Windows 7, Vista and 2003.
The CDAT system is now incorporated into the telephone system to provide CLI
data directly to the user taking the 000 call. The overall structure of the CDAT
system includes the TServer which integrates the telephone system to the
CLI data system.
The diagram below shows the data flow between all the current
elements of the CDAT system.
