MDSSystem Table:

This is the first table to configure. In all the examples in this instruction the host name of the workstation is "BNEVCIFMDS". This can be an IP address as well such as "192.168.0.1".

MessIdSystem:

This is a unique long integer that uniquely identifies every message which enters the MDS system. It is incremented on the message entering either an IPC, SMTPServer or the Switch TCP Server. It can start at any integer value and is incremented then saved back to this location on the creation of every message. The id is also stored in the message log along with all the message handling details.

RemoteAddress: & RemotePort:

The remote address and port (the combination is called a socket) refers to the clients remote address to connect to when establishing a TCP connection to the HUB. All the clients can intercommunicate with one another via the HUB.

It is used by all clients to determine the Hub location on startup.

DefMessIdSystem:

This is the fallback long integer that uniquely identifies every message when the database is inaccessible.
