1.    Import MDSMKII database

Using the "Import and Export Data" program from the SQLServer suite, import the MDSMKII database from the installation CD or backup system. If you are creating a system from scratch there is a basic template the installation CD.

Once the database has been imported, use Enterprise Manager to check the import. Under the "Tables" list, make sure the following tables are present.

1. MDSClient

2. MDSGroups

3. MDSIncoming

4. MDSLog

5. MDSMessages

6. MDSModule

7. MDSMonitorMessage

8. MDSMStatus

9. MDSNetwork

10. MDSSystem

11. MDSTCPClient

12. MDSUser
