This is a minor release.

The purpose of this release is to allow multiple instances of MTELPage to co-exist in the same workstation.

It is important that the queue and relays ports are unique for all applications. These should be checked in "mtelpagesysCURR.mdb" before starting the application.

Also change the Client Id to a unique number.

1. Changed file sub system from c:\mtelsys to the current directory.

   The application detects the "mtelpagesysCURR.mdb" file is in the current directory and

   changes the temp contacts file to be located in the current directory. On startup

   the ~~localclients.mdb file is copied to the current location. The file locations

   can be checked by clicking Client Log button and go to Setting tab.

   

    

2. If the current file is missing then MTELPage uses the normal c:\mtelsys directory.

The new empty mtelmess.mdb is required for the new version.

 

New Functions:

Adding in the new database:

The new empty mtelmess.mdb has the new USRACK table.

To put the new table in the current mtelmess file;

Copy the new empty_mtelmess to the System directory.

Using MTELPage Client C99 perform a Force Back Up from the menu.

 

This will create the new table.

However it will produce an error as it can not find the table to delete the old records. Check the Client Logs tab to see the result.

 

Now simply click on the menu item Force Compaction and it should complete successfully.

Restart MTELPage and there should be no errors.

This is a medium release. The main reason for this release is to enable messaging to the Direct Host for WBB picocell sites. MTELPage will recognise additional responses from the Direct Host and redirect messages on failures.

The second feature is the addition of the User Acknowledgement window which displays acknowledgements from users running the MConnect APP.

There are several minor aesthetic changes as well.

1. Fixed history archive
2. Fixed escape key not working in message status
3. Fixed large groups in last message
4. Added WBB new status messages from DirectHost
5. Log windows now resizable
6. Fixed History List where a field has not been selected. Does not exit History. Allows field changes on searching without exiting.
7. Send Message frame has been changed. The info and group list boxes are larger.
8. Added ReloadMainDBase to the startup configuration which removes the timer from reloading the default database into the client list.
9. Changed Automated testing. Added a start up setting AutomatedTesting which enables the client. The default is false.

   a.    WBB sites are now in the list.

   b.    WBB sites can be sent a test.

   c.    Failed sites are retested one every hour until repaired.

   d.    Oldest failed test to a site is retested, therefore cycles through all failed sites.

    

10. Added USRACK window. This displays the number of users who have acknowledged the alert. The window is active for ten minutes after an alert. It will automatically disappear after this time or if a CAD user double clicks the window. To make the window appear again, go to the Configuration menu and select Show USRACK. There is also a command button on the right called USRACK which will do the same function.

This is a minor release.

1. Fixed Booked Messages now looks for associated messages.
2. Added Esc key back to Current Message Status introduced last version.
3. Added new Key TextFileBackup. This is added to the Registry on startup. A backup is performed immediately on startup and then the date and time is saved back to this registry value. Backups are performed every 7 days.
4. Added WBB_CANCEL command and WBB_OFFLine commands to the MTELRelay responses back to MTELPage. This is a future command to be introduced with WBB Direct. When MTELPage detects the WBB_CANCEL it will redirect the message to the MTELQue. When the WBB_OFFLine is detected the message fails immediately as the picocell is not available.
5. Fixed MTELPage Backup. Default backup was \backup it is now  \logs\backup

This is a minor release.

 

1. Fixed Booked messages failing to check for associated networks when added to the queue.
2. Added back the Successful/Failed Message Status frame. At the completion of all the messages in the queue the Message Status frame appears indicating if the message was successful or not. If not a failure indication is also added to the record.

This is a minor release.

1. Changed R01 records to create associated messages if required. This is setting up MTELPage to send messages to the MDS as the primary route. This mainly affects picocells on WBB where there is a mixture of picocells on WBB and on normal PSTN/ISDN.

2. Change Periodical booked. When activate button is clicked it gives a message that the messge have been added to the booked queue. The application then returns to the main screen.

1. Changed the way the Relay is alerted. Multiple network alerts can now processed in one message. If there is a message for more than one network required to be processed by the relay, MTELPage sends an alert for each network. The Relay then selects records for that network from the database. This is done before the alerts are sent to the MTELserves.
2. Found a bug where there were more networks then servers. The messages for unassigned networks were left in the queue and the servers only selected these if other messages were generated and alerts were sent to the servers. To fix this, the MTELpage Client which created the messages checks the queue every 15 seconds for messages unassigned to a MTELserve Client. The warnings are only generated if all the servers are idle and there are messages in the queue.
3. Changed Booked and Periodical buttons to disappear if the Client list is clicked when entering a message. Users thought that deselecting pagers from the group and then booking the subset list would correctly rebuild the list when recalled from Booked. A booked group is unable to store the deselected clients list so the buttons have been removed in this situation.
4. Mobiles currently have low priority through the Relay. The same priority as NON-Turnout pager messages.
5. Cleaned up the menus to remove little used features.
6. Cleaned up queue display for messages unassigned to server clients.
7. Speed up the Queue display max of 15 entries viewable.

This is a major release.

1. Improved the Client Log response and redraw of all frames and grids.
2. Changed the queue DELETE SQL statements to check for the presence of LOCK
3. Improved the RELAY logging information and added more states including PDEC QUE FULL
4. Improved the Queue insert time on very large groups.
5. Only 15 of the total in the queue are displayed. This improves the response of the application. The displayed 15 are messages with activity or a random selection of idle messages.
6. Priority has been changed from 1000 increments a second to 10. See the section on Priority for more information on this feature.
7. LastMessage was limited to 50 messages. Now re-dimensioned on the fly.

Off Air Decoder Changes

This version changes the OAD display from a "connection to a database" to a local memory model. On each request to look at the OAD database, an array of the OAD list is created instead of a recordset attached to the database. This means the database is free to be processed by other clients for back-up purposes. The previous version interfered with the history and back up processing by maintaining an open connection to the database.

The new OAD model has a changed display as it is now a text box instead of the previous data grid. The new list is easier to view as it now contains the full information with the assistance of scroll bars.

This is the final release for Toowoomba Firecom. It changes the kilomux link to run capcodes instead of pager numbers. It also adds to the record a baud rate field to set the correct pager baud rate to either 512 or 1200. This version sends two messages only i.e. a single repeat.

It requires the MTELsys registry entry "PETCapcode" to be True.

MTELPage Patch 2010-1

This enables the server no 5 to be monitored by MTELpage. If server 5 has trouble with the link MTELpage will be advised through the watchdog. The patch is to be run on all CAD stations running MTELpage 2009 only under direct consultation with MTEL.

MTELPage V3.30 (287)

Capcode and Baud rate

This version enables MTELpage to send capcode, pager number and baud rate to the queue. Previously these fields were not populated into the queue record although the fields existed in the local contacts database. Server No 5 then takes this information and formats a message to send capcode and baud rate in a dedicated field as a special PET record. This is only used on Kilomux dedicated links, as the database is now not present on the Access Card in the picocell end of the link.
