In the later versions of android the notifications can be changed by the user
to present different alert tones to the preset. This has the advantage that the
user can select a desired tone to perform the alerting function.
In addition the later android devices can also override the Do Not Disturb
feature on the mobile, allowing the user to select certain apps to break the
Do Not Disturb functionality.

Do Not Disturb information)
Changing Notification Alert Tone:
Begin by selecting the settings app on your mobile.
Go to APPs then see all apps. Select MTEL Connect then notifications.
This is the MTEL Connect configuration screen. Changes here are only for
MTEL Connect.
There are three types of notifications, normal, default and silent.
Select the first one which is the normal notification.
Scroll down to Sound and select. This will take you to a menu with a
large range of sounds to choose from.
Select the desired sound and then exit settings.
Next arrange a test with the Communications Centre and check that the
sound is operating correctly.
